Welcome to this week’s edition of Open Tabs, where I share my recent reads, current obsessions, and media consumptions every Sunday!

Happy Sunday! Here it is!
In Thursday’s letter, I sent my notes, quotes, and reflections on Andromeda by Therese Bohman, which I read in January. Check it out of you haven’t.
Reading [Books]
I’m currently reading The Lion Women of Tehran by Marjan Kamali and Motherdom by Alex Bollen.
This week, I finished reading Orlanda by Jacqueline Harpman. A thought-provoking romp about gender and identity, inspired by Virginia Woolf’s Orlando.
Reading [Substack]
I’d like to be better at sharing the Substack posts I read/like—both by restacking on Notes and sharing here. So here are a few I liked this week.
Watching [TV]
Burden of Proof (2023)
This docu-series follows a man as he tries to find out what happened to his sister, who disappeared 30 years earlier at the age of 15.
Watching [YouTube]
I started watching some of Anna Howard’s videos/podcast episodes this week. I especially liked this one about creating a digital garden, which gave me some organizational ideas for all of my (seemingly) disparate interests, notes, and links.
Listening [Music]
New album from Unknown Mortal Orchestra is massaging my brain. Particularly obsessed with Earth 3.
Listening [Podcast]
A few podcast episodes I liked.
You Are What You Watch (99% invisible)
Health Insurance in America (Throughline)
What Mahmoud Khalil’s Arrest Means for…Everyone (Code Switch)
Books on my Radar [TBR]
Perfect Victims by Mohammed El-Kurd
Journey to the Edge of Life by Tezer Ozlu
Paradise by Toni Morrison
Last Week…
